The DAWN Exhibition
This month 'What We Love' focuses on the DAWN Exhibition showcased at Nomad Workspace during 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen.
With over 1000 visitors in just 3 days, the art- and design exhibition was a successful and original way of creating a scene for the inspiring and talented newly established and up-and-coming artists and designers.
DAWN is representing new creation, an act of transformation and a fresh way of thinking.
Within the traditions of Scandinavian design and a contemporary internationally approach, DAWN offers a unique occasion for the smaller and the newly established up-and coming designers to exhibit their work – with focus from both national and international press and buyers in a Danish context.
The exhibition derives from the urge to create as well as the desire to support new design and entrepreneurship.
24 talented designers and artists were exhibited during DAWN exhibition, which resulted in a fascinating synergy. The delicate and sophisticated way of combining the artistic expressions made the experience extremely vivid and full of surprises.
The artistic element was especially represented through exhibitors as Studio ThinkingHand, Ursula Nistrup and Cecilie Elisabeth Rudolph while the sophisticated scandinavian furniture design was shown by brands such as C/RO, AYTM, Leaning Towards Design, BordBord, Henriette Mørk, Kusiner Carpets and Isabel Ahm.
At the exhibition, a few brands launched their new collections. The newly established NTER launched their every first collection during DAWN. Furthermore Helle Mardahl chose to launch her latest collection 'The Candy Collection'. Studio ThinkingHand also created costomised sculptures and installations specifically for the exhibition.
